[ Local Rules ]
(to be read in conjunction with the Rules of Golf)
- Out of Bounds (OOB)
Those areas beyond the club's boundary fences.
Those areas defined by white stakes with black tops and white
lines with black dots.
- Ground Under Repair (GUR)
All areas marked by white lines and/or white stakes.
Wheel marks: Clearly defined indentations or ruts made by mower,
tractor or motor vehicle.
- Staked or Guarded Trees
If a shrub or tree which is protected by a tree guard or is staked,
interferes with the player's stance or the area of his intended
swing, the ball must be lifted, without penalty and dropped in
accordance with the procedure prescribed in Rule 24-2b(i) (Immovable
Obstruction). The ball may be cleaned when so lifted. Note: The
stakes are immovable obstructions
- Hazards
Water Hazards are defined by yellow lines and / or stakes.
Lateral Water Hazards are defined by red lines and / or stakes.
- Power Lines
If a ball strikes an overhead powerline and / or pole, the ball
MUST BE replayed without penalty.
- Mobile Telephones
Mobile Phones are not to be used during competitions. PENALTY
- DISQUALIFICATION

- Carry a bucket of sand and fill divots
- Repair ball marks on greens
- Smooth out bunkers
